Gotham Gold Stripe

Gotham Gold Stripe started in 1912 out as a silk stocking company. They started their lingerie lines about 1952. The last of their ads I can find are in 1973. Excerpt from a 1913 ad: "This, hose is'sold only, by the Killian Company in Cedar Rapids and is guaranteed not to drop-stitch below the gold stripe. "
